Popular education in Sweden and integration of migrants (Literature review)

Abstract

The review examines the features of Swedish popular education (folkbildning) in the context of migrant integration. The main factors of non-formal education for adults that contribute to the successful integration of migrants into the host society are presented, such as providing participants with access to social resources, information and knowledge to build connections within local communities and society as a whole.
