The article discusses the issue of the implementation of new biotechnologies and social adaptation to them in the context of digitalization and genetization. Particular attention is paid to the interaction of people with genetic and digital technologies, as well as the formation of a biodigital culture emerging at the intersection of science, digital media, and everyday life. It is emphasized that the success of innovations depends not only on the level of technical development per se, but also on social perception and daily practices. The paper examines the views of Russians on “technologies of the future”, their attitudes towards genetic tests and genome editing, and citizens' involvement in the popularization and interpretation of scientific knowledge through digital media. Using the experience of people with implantable devices as an example, it demonstrates how technology becomes part of corporeality and identity. The article raises the question of the need for a new conceptual framework to describe the transformations associated with the formation of biodigital culture and biodigital everyday life.
