Abstract
The review presents the key stages of development and transformation of the ethical agenda in business in the USA for more than half a century, as proposed by specialists of the American expert organization “Ethics & compliance initiative”. Particular attention is paid to current problems of ethics in the workplace, which employees and employers face.
