This collective monograph presents a number of new
approaches within the social sciences and humanities to proactive
thinking about the future, going beyond traditional forecasting. In the
face of modern challenges, it is proposed, in particular, to actively use
the creative potential of imagination to create a favorable image of the
future that may be realized.
